Deputy Project Director
Mohamed Alaswad is the SLEIDSE project’s Deputy team leader since September 2016. He holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tripoli as well as an advanced executive education certificate from MIT Sloan School of Management and Harvard Kennedy School in the field of Entrepreneurship, leadership and science technology and innovation policies (STIP). He worked at various senior levels with the Libyan Government including being the Deputy Minister of Vocational Training, Deputy Minister of Education, Libyan Ambassador to UNESCO and the Director of Libyan SMEs Program.
Mohamed is the founder of Libyan Technology – based Business Incubators project and Libyan SMEs program, co-founder of the Libyan accreditation committee and he is a member of a high committee for research grants and Libyan innovation initiative.
